Rob (rexrrrrr) answered this in another post about 2 weeks ago............do a search for complete answers, but apparently in the 348 the "ecu reset" basically just allows the throttle position to be programmed.............so when you start it and idle for 10 minutes, don't depress throttle at all........otherwise could cause drivability problems..........(see Rob, I do pay attention!) |

Guys, On a 348 what EXACTLY happens with this process, which parameters are set back to factory datum? |

Just disconnect the battery,Jim. I usually wait for few minutes before I reconnect it. Then start the motor and let it idle for 10 - 15 minutes. This starts the relearning process. |

Hi Group, How do you reset the ECU? I've looked in my Users manual and the repair manual, but nothing is said about this? Is it a matter of disconnecting the battery or do you work with each computer? Any advice would be great. Thanks, Jim Hilton |
