The core is 26" x 13" x 2.75"

This measurement is core size not overall..if you need different measurements let me know.

One last try to get this info and then I'll just hope that they can get it right without having stock measurements. It doesn't appear the core can be much shorter, because of the brackets for the condensor. It looks like there may be 1/2" too much of the core, but I'm not entirely positive. Does anyone know how tight the AC condensor is supposed to fit in there? How straight or angled is the radiator when it's installed?

I'm just bumping this back up to the top in case anyone could get me that measurement. I'd like to return the radiator tomorrow morning and get it fixed.

Anyone know the height of the core?

JRV-
Could you measure your radiators core for me? I just need to find out how tall the finned area is so this shop can get my radiator back to normal. Thanks for the help.

try and call www.alumrad.com They built me a brand new aluminum radiator exactly how I wanted it... inlet/outlet right where I wanted...etc. Required some fabrication on my part to fit (nominal...new brakets, new bottom supports) and was a bit thinker than the stock unit. Anyway it might be worth looking into and they did if for less than $300.00 and quickly too. Nice piece of work. Check it out, might not be what you want but just thought I'd pass on the info.

Sorry to hear you got shafted by some hacks.

I'm still trying to find a home for a close to new perfect condition radiator I bought from GT Car Parts and never used.

If you're interested em me off list.

I took my radiator in to get recored. While they had it they completely disassembled it and put it back together wrong. The top brackets were welded on wrong, and so was the bracket for the A/C hoses. I also think that the new core is taller, so this is where I need help from someone else. How tall is the core of the radiator; the finned region?

The first time I returned it it was just a mistake, but after installing it again I'm a little upset. It appears it was disassembled and re-assembled w/o any concern to the quality of their work.
