Rai
I did my 308 about 4 years ago.
I had the system evacuted at the local rad shop. Purchased a Receiver Drier from Ferrari Ontario Canada Part # 106647. (Once the Rad shop saw it they told me they could have gotten it for half the price!) The rad shop installed the R-134A retrofit kit (I got smart here and save half as much as the local Ferrari dealerwould have charged). Once the Rad shop installed all of this they put in 32 oz of R-134A and checked for leaks. It has performed as well as the previous freeon, just barely.

A while back I posted about retro-fitting to a Sanden compressor and I was told to use a 508 (i think) and that I need to change the hoses too.

to anyone that has done this---can you please post a list of part numbers for hoses, valve,dryer--etc.

Yes it can be done.

You'll need a new

1-Expansion Valve
2-Reciever Dryer
3-Green O-ring kit
4-Conversion Kit, containing R134a port adapters, labels, compressor oil

Start by flushing the old system, then replace old parts w/new expansion valve and reciever dryer, using the new o-rings at each opened joint, pull compressor and drain old oil and refill w/correct amount of new oil, install the port adapters, refit compressor, check system for leaks, and charge system with correct amount (approx. 80%) of R134a.
