Will a 308QV 16x8 rear wheel fit on the front in place of the 16x7? I guess I could try it, but I thought maybe someone here would already know. I know that works on a 328, as my neighbor had the tire place mix them up on him. |

Geeze... I should manufacture skinny spares!! Thanks for all the inquiries folks, I got 4 phone calls and 11 emails about it already... AMAZING!! But sorry, the first emailer bought it already (unless the check's not in the mail or bounces). Anybody need an original tool or jack kit? I may have filched a bulb from whichever kit that belongs in.. otherwise complete, and the leather is in great shape. Also have the little map light in it's pouch. Have other odds and ends, ask. Best regards to all, Andy [email protected]

If anyone needs one, I have a "skinny spare" in decent shape. It's been used (before I got the car) and the outer rim has scrapes. Seems to have nearly all it's tread. $250 sound fair? [email protected] 561-514-1620 |

Yes, the spare tire as factory mounted *IS* part of the crash protection/safety design.

Dear Ferraristi, About taking out the spare...isn't it also part of the crash protection design? Don't think it'll never happen to you. It has to me! (My Carrera) |

A little off topic, but does anyone use run-flat tires? With them there would be no reason to carry a spare (at least as far as I know). Any drawbacks to using those tires? |

Anyone know if the 308 GTSI's ever came with a space saver spare wheel. Since I upgraded my brakes the original 14" spare will no longer fit and 16" wheels are $$$. |
