I used navy blue Kiwi leather shoe cream...the soft creamy stuff in the tube with the foam applicator on top. It hasn't shown up on white shirts(mine)or white pants(wife's)yet. I first applied it about 5 months and 1,000 miles ago. |

While I was recently detailing my 348 Spider I noticed that the driver's side seat bolster had worn to the point that some of the coloring was rubbing off. So, I took a tin of good old Kiwi shoe polish/paste and rubbed in about three coats. Guess what, it worked perfectly. The seat bolster now looks as good as new for less that a few cents worth of shoe polish/paste. I have driven the car several hundred miles since then and the fix is holding out well. And, no it didn't rub off on my pants either. |
