Phase sensor. It is important to ignition/ injection timing. It is a reference signal to tell the ECU when TDC on cylinder 1 is. There is a default mode which enables the engine to continue to operate without this signal. |

Thanks Jeff, I'll see what I can get, although my digital picture capability is poor as its only a still shot from what is primarily a digital 'video' camera so only 1Meg res! |

Jusi interested in what service/monitor the electrical plug handles on the block fitted to the rear of the right hand cam bank? I've just had my car back from a main F agent after oil leak rectification and found this plug connector hanging down on the inner drive shaft cv joint, luckily it hadn't caught on a socket head capscrew and got torn around! What does the connector do because with it unplugged I noticed nothing untoward with the car to drive, or any lights in the cabin. |
