If you have the DinoPlex still on the car I'd give Perma-Tune a try and see if they can fix you up. They install their hardware in the original housing using the original plug so upgrading is a breeze.

if you're reffering to the Distributor part of the Ign. system, yes they can have 'issues' as well. The internal advance mechanism flywieghts & springs were out and needed rebuilding every 10 yrs or so, and thepoints can be replaced with magnetic pickups which work well with the Perma-Tune upgrade.. |
