Matt,

I'm too dumb to scan my wiring diagram for the xr-700. I'm 90% sure I still have them. Got a fax #? And I never used the ballast resitors with that setup

Curious.

My xr700s are ancient, before Crane took them over - they were sold as Alyson (sp?). 10+ years old. I've got the original F-coils, but I don't have a clue as to whether or not I've got coil resistors in the circuit.

My ignition boxes are mounted to a fabricated bracket under the coils, under the left rear fender. They get plenty of air circulation, and are away from the heat of the engine and exhaust. Maybe that helps.

Matt: Just saw this post. Do you have it fixed, or do you still need this info?

Can someone please post a picture and wiring diagram of your Crane xr700 setup?

Or please e-mail it to [email protected]

Thanks
