Hans, you have the same ones I have on my 78 gts..allison...I do have the original install instructions somewhere and will dig them up to post...I did find the lifetime warranty..wonder if crane would honor it?

Matt, I'm too dumb to scan my wiring diagram for the xr-700. I'm 90% sure I still have them. Got a fax #? And I never used the ballast resitors with that setup |

Curious. My xr700s are ancient, before Crane took them over - they were sold as Alyson (sp?). 10+ years old. I've got the original F-coils, but I don't have a clue as to whether or not I've got coil resistors in the circuit. My ignition boxes are mounted to a fabricated bracket under the coils, under the left rear fender. They get plenty of air circulation, and are away from the heat of the engine and exhaust. Maybe that helps. |

I am upgrading to the xr3000 and the crane ps60 coils. I spent FOREVER on the phone with them |
