James: I laughed, with some self-embarassment, after reading your response....no offense taken. Actually, I told this to a freind, who also works on cars, and he also missed it....he did call me later, though, and also laughed.......we both did. It sort of is like one of those mental jokes......plane crashes on the border of two countries.......which country are the survivors buried, etc...... It must have been the cherry Door County wine!!!!!

Andy: The cherry wine hear is great......see what it did to me????????LOL

James... I'm going to have to learn not to be taking a sip of anything when reading your posts!!

Henry, how are those amazing Door County cherries this year?

Henry - I initially thought, "What a great idea!" Then reality struck.

Sorry for the sarcasm - just struck me as funny.

Henry - how do you plan on starting the engine without the flywheel - does yours have a kick starter? Or, perhaps, you will take it off after you start it. This might be easier.

I will be removing the flywheel off the Boxer.......having a new one made. Do the bolt holes in the crankshaft end communicate with any oil chamber? I want to start the engine and see what free revving is all about......with no excess weight on the crank.
