Since purchasing a set of gauges would be a lot more expensive than having it done I would suggest that you get the pressures checked by an experienced service outlet. They can also check the ignition voltages to see if that is where your problems lie.

I have been having a hot start problem since I bought my 1983 308QV. I have replaced the tachymetric sensor along with the 2 other sensors associated with it. I have replaced the sensor on the bottom of the coolant tank. Recently I repalced the fuel accumulator since gas was leaking through the vacuum line. The car is still leaving me stranded. My next idea is to check the fuel pressure during a variety of states, however I don't know how to do this and don't know what the pressures are. I can borrow a gauge. Can anyone tell me what to look at (at rest for how long, etc.) and what the pressures are? Could this problem be something other than the things that I've looked at? Ignitors? Cold start valve?

Any ideas or knowledge would be appreciated.

Thanks .............. Gary
