I called Bilstein all over the place....and got no help. It's a Ferrari p/n made for them in Germany....by Bilstein.

If anyone learns of a rebuilder or channel to Bilstein support....PLEASE POST.

Bilstein can rebuild these. They use many of the same internals as all of their other "take apart" 46mm dampers.

I only replaced one shock, on one car, from the time they were first introduced. I now have 2 cars that are in need of shocks, but this is due to normal wear. Pretty good track record on the shocks. The old Koni's went stiff from sitting, but I have not seen it on the 355's. Headers are another thing! I have 2 customers now with headers being done. Eight yrs, 80K mile warranty on them (in some states). I replaced many of them at the dealer.

Dealer claims my front shocks are seized and need replacing for $1500. The car sat for about a year but seems to drive fine. Anyone else have this problem? Has anyone on the list had their headers replaced under the emissions waranty?
