Chris, Yes I am talking about the lip on the outside.
My original door sills where corroding inside that outside lip, It was due to water and moisture not being about to escape.
Now I have not got this problem.
Also the original Ferrari Kelvar door sills for the 348 GTC has not got them.

Michael, are these two planes oriented at about a 175 degree angle to each other?

JRK, are you talking about the lip on the outside edge which protrudes down?

Many thanks,

-Chris

If your making them out of CF, best not to put lip on the outside. This is where water sits and corrodes the car.
Heiko has some CF door sills, like in the picture below.

The 355 includes two essentially flat surfaces on two planes...one the outer sill...and the other the inner where the rubber is. I'm ignoreing all of the edge curls and detailed features of course.

Most of them are no longer flat...now dented from usage.

Chris,

The 348 has about a 3/16" - 1/4" "U" shaped lip on the edge that wraps around.

Edit - to much wine tonight! - Mine are flat!

Do these door sills have a slight bend from inside to outside, or are they esentially flat? I know they have a depression for the rubber "ferrari" logo pad. The set I have is so warped that it's hard to tell. thanks!
