David over-simplified a step. It should read: " remove bolts at each end of muffler remove muffler ie: drop it on your big toe...(Heheheh) " Sorry, couldn't resist.

Not hard. You will need the following: Jack jack stands wheel chocks Phillips #2 screw driver to remove exhaust shroud 3/8" socket set metric wrenches metric ratcheting wrenches 1 helper *note: A lift makes this job MUCH easier. remove exhaust shroud remove mesh cover remove three bolts that connect exhaust to cat remove bolts at each end of muffler remove muffler bring new muffler into place and attach bolts at each end, leave loose. connect up three bolts that attach muffler to cat. Note relationship of three bolts, they must be tightened evenly to allow muffler tips to extend out back evenly. This may require some trial and error. Once satisfied, tightend bolts at each end of muffler. attach mesh screen attach shroud. Enjoy! |
