leather is getting a little worn, the 'rope' in the bead surrounding the seat has pulled out; a good re-dye actually would make it 90% but the beading does need to be redone. Darn good product, that Leatherique! |

Mark, Why do you say you need to reupholster the driver's seat? Is the foam deteriorating, or is it just that the leather's looking bad? |

Having seen F-chatters recomending a few products I decided to spend weekend using them on my '82 GTSi. Here are my personal observation/results: 1. 3M Pristine Clean III : I just have a cheap $40 orbital polisher, not fancy $200 one, but the results I got match the recomendation. With a 'real' polisher I think the results would be fantastic. Recomend it. 2. Bought Leatherique this weekend at the Denver Concours show. 24 hour application of Rejuvenator followed by the cleaner resulted in a fantastic clean interior (worked too good - its now obviouse I need to reupholster driver's seat. Product is as everyone has said - the best. 3. Oxy-clean for the headliner/rear deck - just did the headliner so far, sprayed it on and rinsed it off in the shower under medium spray; the dirt that came out was unbelievable. Athough I need a new headliner, the results were great. Will do the interior material later. Recomend it. just my .02 hope it helps. |
