leather is getting a little worn, the 'rope' in the bead surrounding the seat has pulled out; a good re-dye actually would make it 90% but the beading does need to be redone. Darn good product, that Leatherique!

Mark,
Why do you say you need to reupholster the driver's seat? Is the foam deteriorating, or is it just that the leather's looking bad?

Having seen F-chatters recomending a few products I decided to spend weekend using them on my '82 GTSi. Here are my personal observation/results:

1. 3M Pristine Clean III : I just have a cheap $40 orbital polisher, not fancy $200 one, but the results I got match the recomendation. With a 'real' polisher I think the results would be fantastic. Recomend it.

2. Bought Leatherique this weekend at the Denver Concours show. 24 hour application of Rejuvenator followed by the cleaner resulted in a fantastic clean interior (worked too good - its now obviouse I need to reupholster driver's seat. Product is as everyone has said - the best.

3. Oxy-clean for the headliner/rear deck - just did the headliner so far, sprayed it on and rinsed it off in the shower under medium spray; the dirt that came out was unbelievable. Athough I need a new headliner, the results were great. Will do the interior material later. Recomend it.

just my .02 hope it helps.
