John... That's just a crossover vent line. If tightening the clamps doesn't fix it, as Mark suggests, slip new hoses on as Peter suggests. They're not critical parts. However, I'd check the crankcase venting to make sure you're not building up pressure. Good luck, Andy |

John, the fabric braiding on the outside of the hose is hiding the deteriorated condition of the rubber hose underneath. It is damp, because the rubber hose is cracked and weeping. You can either replace with the same type of hose, or a fuel hose obtained from a local auto parts store (low-pressure fuel hose is safe to use for oil-vapour). 3/4" I.D. should be the correct size... |

Oil vent hose from crankcase to air intake; these are the 2 hoses that are repalced by a Krank Vent system if you go that way (KV reduces crankcase preasure, may reduce some oil leakage). Blow-by oil is probably leaking past clamps .... |

This is an oil breather line, correct? It is slighly wet with motor oil when touched, and slighly shiny. Is this o.k.?
