Rob, do you run D3s? They're were recomended to me for autocross, but the dealer I was speaking to said he never has them used because the challenge guys don't use them.

The question I would have is how old are they? I once bought a pair of new slicks, they looked great but the bead wouldn't seat because the side wall had hardend from sitting......they were goodyear though, a race tire dealer later told me goodyear race tires and speedline wheels often have mounting problem ever with new tires.

I would be interested, but for not much more than I buy the 1 or 2 heat cycled tires for. I figure I get a $300 discount a tire for someone else to scrub them in for me. If you can't find anyone else, I would give you $100 each for them.

They are new and have not been used at all. The labels are still on them. They are size 235/645/18 and 295/680/18. I also have a set of 360 standard wheels that I would make a package deal on. If you know anyone who would be interested let me know.

Thanks a lot you guys.

How many times have they been used?

New goes for around $350 each from the dealer. You can shop around and get them for $250 new. Tires with 1 or 2 sessions (20-40 minutes) sell for $80 each from the companies that supply the pro race series.

I'll bet Rob Lay might take them off your hands...

Gentlemen,

Does anyone know what a set of brand new, unused, Pirelli D3 racing slicks goes for? I have a set off some Challenge wheels and need to get rid of them. I have been unable to find them at Tire Rack and don't have any idea what they are worth.

Thanks

Duncan
