Looking good Peter, and familiar too. Still fiddling at getting my water pump off here, hopefully I'll have time on Saturday to play with it. It's Thursday night now......is that a 308 I hear???? |

3/4" ID fuel hose (this is suitable for all petrochemical products, oil vapours included). They're easy to come off, but you'll have a "fun" time getting that cross-over pipe back into those two little hoses again. |

Peter, What size/type and where did you get the hose you use for the crank case emission system. I am refering to the pieces that hook to the metal tube that runs along the left side of the carbs that you see in your picture they hook onto the heads and there is another one that runs down to the separator. Thanks Stacy |

Ive had my 328 for four months now, and have gotten so much satisfaction out of just detailing it. I cant imagine what it must feel like to be at this stage of your project. Congratulations. Ill be thinking of you on Thursday. |

Thanks for all of your compliments, save the best though for later on this week (Thursday, if its not raining), that's when it all matters. Once things are all adjusted, I'll be videotaping the car running (with the air-box off to get that awesome carburetor induction roar, plus the Borla exhaust...). I'll eventually broadcast this video on the web so you may all enjoy. |

Nice. You definitely more than deserve it after all that work. It's so cool that you know all the ins and outs of the entire car now. |

Wish I had the know-how! Can you post an MPEG or sound clip on your web site when it's done? Congrats Peter! Who's next? |

Peter, "Kinda Makes a Guy Proud don't it?" You have done a great job and shared your progress and pictures of the job with us as you went along. I think this has given those who had questions about various aspects of the process a good insight into how it was done. Now I'm sure you are anxiously waiting to turn the key. Keep us posted. If everything goes according to my plan (if that's the case, anything can happen! J), looks like I'll be firing-up my car after ten long months. Only minor fluid top-ups and a few last items to take care of. Hopefully by the end of the week, I'll start driving again (one of my friends is getting married, so it would be nice to pull up to the ceremony in a sexy black Ferrari). Here's what the finished engine looks like without the air-box on, the Webers in their full glory (as per Steve M.'s suggestion a long time ago).
