Does anyone know how to tell if a Mondial T was originally intended for the US? I am considering purchasing an 89 but a pull on Carfax via the VIN only shows records dating to 93...I am wondering how it could have gone 4 years with no records? (Thus thinking it may have been imported.) I also have a potential issue in that the mileage appears to have been rolled-back...a mechanic is going to check it out to try and determine the "real" mileage, I am hoping it was simply misrecorded at the CA Emissions station.
