In the book sent with my TEC-3 they also mentioned Taylor "prowire" , so that is what I went with and have had lots of problems. I have to use BP6 ES plugs and gap at .025 or it will not run smooth. Also I can not run Iridiums at all since they are resistor plugs. I have a new set of Taylor Spiro-prowire on order (less resistance) and hope this cures the problem. |

Henry, go to their site, send them an email asking about dealers in your area, they'll respond within a day. You can buy them direct, though dealers typically offer a discount and the manufacturer charges full MSRP. These guys have great prices: Payne Technologies. Yah, the do Honda's, but they'll probably offer a similar discount for custom order, and they're near the manufacturer. Good people.

NGK 5s with Electomotive HPX gapped to .035. Wires nothing special -- I think whatever Nick supplied. Runs like a champ. I have used Magnacores previously with great results as Rob suggests. |

Magnacor is perfect, great conductance and excellent EMI / RFI suppression. Excellent reading on their site, download the .pdf. Magnacor spark plug wire |

Taylor "prowires" with NGK BP6es--tried to run new iridium plugs but would not work--suspect if i went to a "hotter wire" i could run iridiums. thinking about buying a set of Taylor "pro-spiro-wires" to test this. |

For those of you who have these ignition systems...what ignition wires (brand and model) do you use? Also what plugs (brand and model)? I've been using Accel Super Stock wires with NGK BP6ES for years and was just wondering what others use. |
