Andrew,

I picked up your email and responded this morning. Unfortunately, I can't be of any help as mine is a North American version with the wet sump engine.

Barry... I sent you a "private" email, but I never know if those get anywhere. I'm assuming yours is a dry-sump car. Would you mind taking detailed pics of your oil cooler? Mine's a bastardized setup and I'd like to see orig. Thanx, and best regards.

The flares were not standard on fiberglass cars. Here's mine:

The lower rear panels were fiberglass on the early steel cars. I agree with Mike Charness that your flares were probably hand-done. Where I have "sandblasting" on my car, the deeper coat is yellow. I think those flares look nice too.

Andy... they're not "standard" on fiberglass cars... I have 2. Don't know what to make of them, I've never seen that... but I agree, I like them too.

Best regards,
Andy

Mine's a 78 and it does not have them.

I'll check around. I like them a lot actually.

The car is a '77 steel body and the front flares are steel. The rears are fibreglass and they appear to be factory (red gelcoat where they have been "sandblasted" by road grit).

Andy,

It that a glass car? I think the glass cars came with them.

Bondo or fiberglass? They were probably hand done and built up rather than bolt-ons if that's a steel-bodied car.

Look specifically below the belt line and behind each wheel arch. I am wondering what the origin of these might have been. Thanks for any info. Upload
