Bob, I have a late 79 308 GTS but it has the gas struts. I have not seen any threads on the chat line RE: Prop rod. Your idea sounds as good as any. You might try Italian Design & Racing 480-968-0421 and ask for Butch Hooper. He may have one. |

Just got my 79 308 GTS 2 wks ago, the prop rod ( not gas struts ) for the engine cover has part of one leg broken off. Checking with the dealer and finding this part is NLA, is there any aftermarket mods for this. It seems to me a 3/8" uni joint could be modified to work. Thanks in advance for your help |
