If you want to learn more, I highly recommend:
Bosch Fuel Injection and Engine Management -- by Charles O. Probst

Excellent descriptions & theory of both the K-Jetronic, KL-Jetronic & the Electronic FI systems. Great drawings/figures. About $20 at

www.amazon.com

I do NOT recommend:
How to Tune and Modify Bosch Fuel Injection by Ben Watson
Probst's book is much better. Watson's drawings are almost illegible. Some I never figured out!

Thank goodness this is a very very simple and basic injection system.

Excellent site, found it last year while doing generic WEB searches on symptoms - a search which, by the way, shows that ALL cars share similar issues (EXCEPT timing belt issues - seems to be a Ferrari copywrited weak spot)...bad fuses, failed accumulators, etc. etc. common issues.

My brother found this link that explains, in simple terms, how the Bosch K-jetronic fuel injection works on the 308, and many other cars. I found it very helpful in understanding why my car is struggling to idle up when cold. Very cool stuff. The pictures and diagrams really explain it well.

For those that this is a little simple, please ignore.
