Thanks but i bought it today and put it on. It does sound nice and it fit right on no problems. I havent driven it much since, too busy, but tomorrow it will get a good test. I like the tips, they look stock from above, the vanes in inside the tip dont look out of place and arent as obvious as some other borla systems Ive seen on domestics. Thank God they didnt do the square tip look like other systems they offer. |

Tommy, they came with the car when I bought it last year, couldn't tell you when they were installed. Newman I'll post a picture Monday or Tuesday sorry for the delay.Buy the way the tips have a slant cut to them, longer at top shorter at bottom. |

I have a Borla on my 83 308 and love it. The sound is fantastic. I don't think they make them anymore for the 308. I second what Sindo say about the parking garages. Mine sets off alarms all of the time. |

I notice on their new exhaust systems, the tips look more "traditional" in appearance, ala Tubi. |

I actually liked the sound of the Borla on my '77 308GTB a ilttle better than I do the Tubi on my current '76. A Borla exhaust is a nice value-add for any 308. |

Sindo, When did you get it?? I was told by Borla that they don''t make it any longer. The few that they had in stock were sold on Ebay more than a year ago. Tommy A |

Any pics would be fine. I heard the tips were odd, I might cut them off and swap on some anza tips. |

I think they sound pretty similar to a Tubi (heard it on a couple carb 308GT4's and a 348), but I find the exhaust tips rather odd looking. Personal preference... |

I have a Borla on my '84 qv it sounds fantastic. Deep rumble/throaty sound, and when I open her up on the expressway even better. The funny thing, that I get a kick out of, is in the parking garages all the alarms going off. |

Anyone have a borla on a 308? How do they sound? If anyone has a pic of one on a 308, I would like to see it. I have a line on a used one but have not seen it yet, just curious. |
