Doug Make sure that whatever you get fits the holding cage properly. When I got my '77 Boxer the battery was less wide that the cage holding it. But it was bolted in tight and all was fine until one day when I was cornering at a track day the battery slid sideways and shorted on the cage with an almighty bang, a total loss of power in mid bend and a frighteningly expensive smell of burning. It melted one restraining bolt. No real damage was done but I lost half the track day, my nerve and my temper. I had a new cage top made to fit the battery properly |

What battery do you use for your Boxer? Mine is an '81 carbed car and the current battery is 5 years old. Wondering if I can go bigger than the current one. |
