Philip, I had jacked the car up at the rear to clean underneath it for the Ferrari concourse in the UK. I thought I check the wheels. Grap hold of the wheel, one had at the top of the wheel and the other at the botton of the wheel. Then try the move the wheel towards and away form you. If the wheel moves then the bearing has play in them. I checked the other wheels and they had no play at all. The bearing is not making a noise. | ||

JRK, How did you notice this....shaking upon driving...or was your car up on jacks and you could "wiggle the wheel" | ||

Slight, yes, but barely enough to feel by hand, but don't delay replacement. Cost? Search for parts sources. | ||

My wheel has slight play on it where the wheel bearing sits in the hub. Can you tight the hub nut slightly ? or must you replace the bearing to stop play ? Please help .... Thanks |
