Am converting to a Ben Millermon single distributor on my 3.2 (reliability, ease and affordability of service and parts, tunability) and hope to use the original ecu to run the tach. The distributor will have a Mallory optical trigger and Multiple Spark Discharge. Although a bit simplified, here is the plan below:  So, can anyone verify that the ecu will still send an rpm signal measured from the flywheel sensors to the tach when not attached to the coils. Intuitively, I think it would, but this is Italian electronics. Any advice appreciated. Best Russ |
