NEVER MIND I bent the heat shield up away from the shift shat and everythign works great. Kelly |

The motor is running great. I rolled it out the driveway and put it in first and it would not go into gear. I mean you could not move the shift leaver forward or backwards. I tryed putting it in reverse and got grinding. Now I do remember using the exhaust shield to get the altenator backup towards the motors so I could put the belt on. Do you think I bent the exhaust shield down on the shift shaft so much that it will not shift?????? 30 days of work, a track day tomorrow and no car. Thanks Kelly |
