Tuco,
Keep spraying all around with gasket remover( permatex ). Let it soak for a day or 2 and than the rubber mallet.

Tuco.. a couple of cheap wood chisels.. the wider the better.. will do the trick witout gouging anything if you're reasonably careful. Gently alternate tapping them into the gasket line at about 1/3 and 2/3.. i.e., a little either side of the middle.

Best regards,
Andy

What I did was make a few hardwood wedges (walnut or oak) and pound them in. Also try heating the studs.

Anyone got any tips for breaking loose the intake manifolds from the heads? Man, they are really stubborn! The car has 80,000 miles on it, and I don't think they've ever been off. The heads are still on the engine which is still in the car which makes the options somewhat limited.

Thanks for your help.
