I'd like to add Jeff B. to this list. His help and scans of the WM have helped more than a few of us. Vincent. |

there's one thing I love about this site ...that there's no shortage of very knowledgeable, generous guys who are willing to donate time, energy, sweat, blood, and money to help another owner in need. Eugene, I echo your thoughts... many of the guys you've listed have helped me out in the past as well. Good lookin' out, fellas! |

Your welcome Eugene, any time brother, any time. Just glad I was able to help you out, the way others have helped me. This is why Ferrarichat is the best. Helping each other take the fear and mystery out of owning a Ferrari, and the high cost too. LOL. |

With the help from various postings and responses from the following FerrariChat.com members: John Stecher Ernie Vincent Frank P. Rob S. Mitch JRV Don Neal J R K and many others that I can't think of I was able to performed the following procedures on my 348 over the 4th of July weekend: 1.) Changed the oil and filter 2.) Changed / flushed the brake and clutch fluid 3.) Changed the gear / transmission oil 4.) Removed the cats and installed test pipes 5.) Installed enhanced computer chips 6.) Installed a fresh alternator belt 7.) Removed the clutch housing to inspect the thurst bearing and slave cylinder assembly. Yep, it's leaking and needs to be re-built. 8.) Cleaned the engine and 9.) JRV, maybe I'll have some new tires put on! Without the information that you guys have contributed to this web site, I would have not had the confidence to perform this work. Thank you! Eugene |
