Yes, it is used for testing the Digiplex and some of the components like the flywheel sensors.

The diagnostic socket for the Jofatron is on the inside of the L/R roof pillar. Lift the rear bonnet and you should see a round black plastic cap on your left in the vicinity of the coils.
