John: I get to take credit for Steve's "black line" on the bottom of his euro air dam. Jeff, the previous owner, saw mine at one of our Ferrari events and liked it. It's just semi-flat black paint, similar to what you have on the body centerline. I did it because not only do I like the look of it, it is a lot easier to touch up small scrapes than trying to do it in rossa corsa!

John,

Thanks for the compliment. Did keep the stock wiring on the car completely in tact and stock lights if there is ever another owner for her. Have recently been jonesing for a 512TR or M :-)

Like yours, the stock fog lights here were very cloudy and could not buff it all out. Gave up and decided getting new was best.

The Euro 308 QV has the fogs available for both passing (pull back headlight stalk) and also during main beam BRIGHT. When main beam BRIGHT are on, so are the fogs and WOW she throws PLENTY of light now! Have read SOME 308 models also have a separate switch by the emergency brake to turn only the fogs on and off. My GUESS is this also corrosponded to those 308 that came equipped with rear fog/tunnel lights. Wish this was on the car here. If course i could wire that in and install rear fogs... Would enjoy a way to have ONLY the fogs on as here in the mountains of New Hampshire we do indeed get plenty of fog.

As for the bottom of the Euro air damn, it is painted. The car came this way and i personally prefer it as it matches the side of the car that also has black up to the door sill line. Visually, this bottom section being black (front Euro air damn and up to door sill) gives the body a more sexy, petite look).

Installing the Hella lights was VERY easy. Just took my time and had at it. Fully aligning all the doors/hood/trunk/headlight gaps was another story. Feels good to know it ALL lines up nicely.

Hope this helps. Feel free to post here or e-mail me privately if you run into ANY snags. ALWAYS glad to be of service.

Enjoy the Drive,

Steven-
They look great. I think I will do the same thing to my fog/passing lights. The lenses on mine are very cloudy, but I will keep them for the next owner if he wants original (if there is a next owner). From the photo they look much brighter. Are your fogs hooked up as a passing set-up, or can you turn them on with the headlights?

My car has the same front air dam and I was wondering if you painted the bottom black, or is that some type of tape. Mine is all red and quite scratched. I don't mind the scratches, but some are deep enough up the side of the wing that you can see the fiberglass. Just curious. Thanks

LOL, thanks :-)

Actually that is NOT my plate per se. It is PART of my real plate, then a few Photoshop tricks :-)

Enjoy the Drive,

Nice pics. I especially like the custom plate. Could have a different meaning to any urologists on the forum though...
