I know some Fiat blocks have the outside lower exhaust studs open to the oil and can leak and so I wouldn't be surprised if the 308 is the same way. There are many methods people use to try to stop the seeping but I'm not knowledgeable enough to recomend one that is for sure "safe". Someone here will surely know.

In the process of creating perhaps worlds first leakproof 308 motor, I really think I have seen oil weep from around a lower exhaust stud on the head. I certainly saw bubbles in a bit of oil (that may have wicked there after the last go-round with brakekleen)
It seems as though four of the studs go into an oil gallery or a cam cover drain back hole?
Or am I just barking up the wrong oil leak?
Thanks in advance, Jay
