Jeff: It appaears that one does not have to remove the engine lid, as the instructions state.

I see the grill section, in front of the lid, on the floor in the picture. Did it have to come out?

Thanks

Henryk...I remove each item as it is stated in the shop manual(except for exhaust), going down the list and checking each one off as I do it. For those who don't have a manual, I will sit down tonight and try and make a list in the order of removal.

Eugene...I will replace the belts, the main seal, and redo the waterpump. I would also like to change out the coolant hoses, and any others suspect. Also replace any "weeping" gaskets. I would like a leak-free engine if possible. Lastly do a thorough engine and engine-bay detailing.

Thanks to all for your comments and support.

Jeff: It would help if you would label these numerically, in the order that they where removed.

Looks like your half way home!!!!LOL

I would recommend that you cover the throttle bodies......no telling what can fall in.

This is my car currently. I have been following the steps as outlined in the manual. My manual had Mondial info. for this section, but Henryk was kind enough to copy and send me the correct pages. They are invaluable. Here are some pics, sorry they aren't very clear. I suck at taking pictures, but I tried.

Here are some parts I've removed so far:
