Mitchell, I feel your pain. I too was in on the group buy. Yes, we got screwed in more ways than one. When it was determined that half the bushings we got were incorrect, I like everyone else, sent them back to Dan. Who made the mistake on eight 13.3101's and eight 13.3102's is still up in the air. I believe that ES made the initial mistake and the group buy did not bother to check. Either way, ES has been a pain in the arse to deal with. I have a friend who deals with ES and he could never get a straight answer on this issue from them. The last thing I heard was that as soon as they sell the incorrect ones that they have in stock, then they'll exchange the remaining ones. I knew that when they only exchanged half that I should have said that my car was apart and got in on that first exchange. Normally I would have done that, since I am very skeptical, but I figured that I would just be fair about it. Bottom line is about half of the group actually got 16 of the correct ones and the other half only got 8 and 8 incorrect ones. But, I guess others (as yourself) got nothing. I gudgingly purchased another 8, but will never buy another thing from ES. Whew, and that's all I have to say about that.

Mike

I got really shafted. The first shipment of 16 meant for me got the wrong address (no street number) on it so it was lost in the mail for 90 days. I had to buy something else to put my car back together.

When the box was finally returned to the sender, the whole fiasco blew up so I never got anything for my money. Later, I was sent the 8 wrong (big size) bushings that could not be used by anyone.

I just moved recently and finally decided that I would end the whole episode by tossing the darn things in the trash.

$200 for zip. Never again group buy. if I had bought it by myself through my credit cards, at least I would have the option of not paying for it.

Out of principal, I will not use any ES bushings even if they gave it to me for free.

I had ES bushings just done on my 308QV on all four corners (same size all around) just two weeks ago. They're great, and worth the cost.

Mitchell, didn't you at least get 8 of the 16 bushings in the correct size in the group buy? If I recall, it was an issue of having ordered half 3101's and half 3102's, when they were all supposed to be the 3101's. I was one of the first folks in the group buy, and one of the first to send in my 8 incorrect ones to Mark M for the exchange, so thankfully I came out ok, but I feel for the rest of the group who came in later.

Energy Suspension Bushing group buy.

What painful memory. Money well spent for zero returns.

I bought my ES poly bushings at Auto Zone. I posted the AZ part #'s in a previous thread, so check the archives, I don't have the info here at work.

Superformance in the UK, Maranello (Ferrari UK) and Ted Rutlands usually have the stock bits and pieces you need (bushings, shocks etc).

BTW, Superformance also sells a harder bushing. Poly bushings are likely the way to go but I was put off after the group buy fiasco.

Depending on what you are trying to do, some members here can provide you with advice on extensive modifications. Rob S. should chime in on this one - he can help you with custom valving of Bilsteins. Others have tried Ohlins etc. depending on what you are trying to do, budget etc

Gentlemen:
I am gathering the required pieces, shocks, ball joints, bushings, etc., to rebuild the front suspension. Has anyone had experience with Energy Suspension poly bushings and shock "eye bushings"?
Thanks in advance
Steve Schroeder
