Charles, if you leave the top down for lond periods of time, air can develop in the lines. In this case I just help the top along by manually pulling it in the forward direction. |

There should be an emergency top tool kit just aft of the emergency brake in a leather (curved) case. It should pull up and then open and have the top tools. Let me know if you can't find it and I'll go get mine and shoot a pic for you. Mike |

My top is stuck down, refusing to go up with either the normal switch or the emergency back up switch. It does try, but moves a few inches and then stops. I checked the pump fluid which had been a problem before. It was below minimum, so I added some, but it didn't help. The manual shows a place to insert a bolt and then use a ratchet to put the top up mechanically. However, the tool kit comes with neither the bolt nor the ratchet. Anyone know anything about the specs of these pieces? I'm sure I could go buy a long bolt if I knew the threading and recommended length. Also, as part of the mechanical raising, they have you release the fluid pressure in the system by loosening a screw on the top's hydraulic pump. Once this is done, do you need to repressurize the system somehow? Is there an air bleed valve? Any other suggestions? Thanks!
