I think later '92s had three points in the rear. I've seen plenty of '92s (late '91 and early '92 build months) with only lap belts (which mine has) and late '92s and '93s with lap belts in the rear. I want to retro-fit only the rear seats with 3 point belts. I'll 'live' with the front seat mouse junk |

The US 92 had three points in the rear, mouse belts up front. On my 92, the bolt threading for regular front belts was still in the car albeit covered by the panels. I think drilling them out would have worked but I was - ahem - lucky enough to have it totaled for me so I ended up replacing with an 89 so I would not have to deal with them. The US 89 came with normal three points in the front and 2 points in the rear which I replaced with Sparco 4 points so I could lock my kids in place. - JMG |

I noticed on some '92 Mondials (earlier I assume) have the rear seat lap belts, and the two piece front seat belts (with the damn mouse tracks). I'm wondering if it's possible to add/retro-fit the rear seat belts with the later '92/93 Mondial t shoulder restraint system. |
