Early 250 gt is 55 ft lb... Later 250 gt outside plug is 60/62 ft lb.If you are doing a rebuild,and for example your torque spec is 60ft lb ,start at 25 ft lb for the first pass then 45,for the second and then finally up to the final pass always following the correct pattern.The old columbo engines,I recomend a tightening at 300 miles after operation.Nick Scianna.. |
