its an additive that Chevron makes and it is well known in the p-car world - many folks swear buy it - its comes in chevron gas or you can get it at the parts store - also search the site for techron and see all the posts on it |

In Colorado, all the refineries end up with some sulfer in the gas, and cars with very small injectors (like the 944 I had...geez...18 yrs ago) require periodic use of Techron, the only product that would get them to run clean and pass emissions (strict in Colo). They use it at Chevron stations, and sell it in concentrated form at auto parts stores. I use it on every vehicle I own and have never had a fuel system problem or injector problem. |

Tom, I live in the UK and I use Shell optimax fuel 100 octane. I can buy slick injecter cleaner, that american I believe ?? Any good or I believe Castrol do a injector cleaner ???? What is Techron ???? |

put some techron in every six months and you are good to go, if you buy your gas at cheveron you are ok |

Guys, Is it a good idea to use a injector or fuel cleaner when filling up at the gas station so to clean the fuel and injector system on the car ???
