Not to side track Christopher's thread, but does anyone have a complete list of all the hose size ID's that would be required to change all of the braided hoses in a '84 QV? |

Steve, Beware! I have about $100.00 in hosing (fuel & vacuum) that either a VW aftermarket parts dealer and/or misc. foreign parts dealer swore that would work! Guess what they don't! They don't have the same wall thickness as O.E. After the engine heats, they collapse very easily.. Chris. |

I just went to my foreign car parts store and they had some in stock and would order me more. It was 7mm ID I think. $1.10 a foot. |

Unless you concours the car you might want to consider going to a different kind of hose. I use BMW fuel line with a teflon innner layer, available at any BMW dealer. A leaking or broken fuel line in a 308 gives me nightmares. IMHO the cloth braiding can conceal a cracked or leaking line. |

I got mine from GT carparts in Pheonix when I was there last year. He had a fair bit of it. I'm not sure where I've put their number but someone here will be able to post it for you. |

Hello Gentlemen, Can anyone help me source the O.E. (or equivalent) cloth braided fuel hosing with the same wall tickness for a 79 3089GTB? I'd rather not do business with Ferrari UK. Thanks for the help! Chris, |
