The why... I would like to get aftermarket wheels and have not found any that I liked that were under $2K. So when I was told that the bolt pattern was the same. I thought that if I new what offset that I needed, then I would have a lot more options as far as wheels go. |

Peter B. -- is the hub diameter also typically 67 mm on the Volvo wheels (just curious)? I think your comments about the offset being quite different for the later front wheel drive Volvos is probably right, but oddly this could work to Jim C.'s advantage since I believe Mondials also use wheels with fairly large "+" offsets (although "why" is still a good question for this whole proposition -- except for the reasons you guys have already stated). Rob L. -- another example of why we need more time for edits/typos! -- should be 108 mm = 4.25" bolt circle not 1.25". |

Yes, Volvo wheels will fit your Ferrari. BUT:Most of the late Volvo stuff is now front wheel drive so the offsets will be wrong. The early Volvo wheels are mostly 14 or 15 inch and waste of time. The only benefit in knowing that Volvo run a 108mm (1.25") bolt size, was when I bought a set of aftermarket 3 piece wheels for a GT4 and specified the size and offset. When dealer asked what they were for, I told him they were for a 240 Volvo V8 project car. His best price was $1200 for the set. Yet, when I rang 2 weeks earlier and quoted the same wheels for a Ferrari, hey presto, price was $1750. Wonder why ? |

That would be so cool.....bolt a set of rusted Volvo wheels on your Ferrrari! What a great picture that would make! Seriously, are you going to use the Volvo wheels as temps while you paint the car.....or are you putting Ferrari wheels on your Volvo (VERY cool).....or maybe you want to use a Volvo wheel as a spare? |

I have read that volvo and ferrari wheels are interchangeable. Is this true? What considerations are there, etc...? Jim Cuckovich |
