Hans, At one time Herbert Gault had a couple addtional pairs of struts for sale. I don't know if he still has them but you can email him at [email protected] |

Hey Guys, Be sure you use "Westley's revitalizing protectant" occasionally on the shaft of the gas strut. It keeps the seal from getting hard and letting the gas escape. It is made by "Blue Coral" and found in PEP BOYS etc. MAGOO |

I had to replace mine on my 328GTS to get the bonnet to stay up in cold weather. It solved the problem. I bought mine from www.trutlands.com. |

The stays on the rear bonnet (engine compartment) does not hold the bonnet up when tempratures are lower than +/- 18 deg C. In higher temprature environment or after running the car it is no problem. The stays must be percharged with air or N2. Can anything be done apart from ordering new ? Will the new ones be any better ? Thanks |
