Adam, the rectifier bridge is inside the Alt. I am not totally sure if your regulator is external or not. As Herbert says identify the Alt. and he can supply the parts. |

If you will send me or post a picture of the alternator I can tell you what kind you have and can provide parts and detailed overhaul proceedures. I have offered this before but no one has done it. |

Did you check the fusebox? My bat light started to light up at higher rpms. Tought with was blown bridge or something in the alt. Tested excellent. Found burnt fuse connection and melted plastic in the fusebox. New fusebox solved everything. |

I am the first one to be called a smart ass, so no hard feelings, but I am a good DIY guy with the right guidance from this board. Where is the Voltage regualtor and how do I check it. |

Adam, Not to be a smart ass but you have to be the judge on whether you send it out or not. How DIY are you? I would start by checking the voltage regulator first. This seems to be one of the major problems. I could be wrong but it is a place to start. |

Batt light is now on 100% glow, except at idle wher 50%. Checked Batt with meter and read over 12volts. I know these are problems on TR's and the batt light had until today barely glowed with the lights on under acceleration. If it is the Alt is it worth doing it myself or sending the car out. Adam |
