This should not be a problem. The pressure drop for such a small score should be minimal. |

Mitchell, I agree with Magoo. If oil pressure was acceptable prior to tear down, I wouldn't worry about it. |

Mitchell, I barely see it. If you were getting good oil pressure before I wouldn't worry about it. Just my way of looking at it. |

Dear all. I removed, disassembled and cleaned my oil pump (75GT4) and found one very small score line on the wall of the pump housing. You can see it faintly in the picture. It is probably about 0.1mm deep and 0.1 mm thick. Does this thin line have a significant impact on the resulting oil pressure? Should I worry? |
