Thanks, Mark, for the response with regards to TR parts availability. 2004 isn't that far off, and should be able to source what I need for now from the dealer network, etc. -- however, it will be a welcome addition to the Ferrari community to be capable of browsing the parts diagrams and order parts directly from Ferrari UK for the Testarossa. |

Henryk, no problem. Eric, Unfortunately we cannot export TR spares at the moment. Our deal with the Factory is for parts for cars that have been out of production for more than ten years. The TR family is just outside this bracket. Looking at 2004 before this changes. Best Mark |

Mark: Thanks for taking the time to check these bushing sizes. Unfortunately, all of these bushings are useless. When I am ready for the bushing changes, during the Winter lay-up, I will call you guys for parts. |

Speaking of TR parts... Just visited the "owners.ferrari" site, and could not find any spare parts catalog link / listing for the TR. Is this in the works to be added soon? Just curious...as I'll be in the market for parts very soon. -- Thanks |

Henryk, Finally found some time to measure our bushings. Unfortunately none of the bushings for the TR and Boxer match up (not even close!) to the dimensions that you posted for the one that you have been sent. Best Mark |

BTW: Relative stiffness: Basically, no impression left on rubber, with some fingernail pressure. I would guess it is Hard. |

Mark/Malcolm -- What Henry needs are the dimensions A thru E shown in the sketch below for the various PNs (and maybe a guess at the relative stiffness of the elastomeric element -- e.g., "hard", "medium", "soft", etc.):
Henry -- You might add the "C" dimension to complete your earlier description. |

Mark: While we all appreciate your post, with the prices, this still does not help those FChat members that are "stuck" with the pictured bushing. If you can help these members, by seeing if the pictured bushing is a replacement for any of those listed, it would be a GREAT help to them. How about some good-old British "customer service"? Thanks |

I would like to replace the suspension bushings on my TR and Boxer. Enclosed is a picture of a bushing, sent to me by a FChat member.......they ordered the bushings as a "group-buy", only to find out the bushings did not fit their 3X8s......someone did state that these will fit the TR. Most of the TR and Boxer bushings are the same. Below are the part numbers: Boxer: Front suspension: 111617 Rear suspension: 101091 and 111616 TR: Front suspension: 111617 Rear suspension: 111616, 134883, and 120813 The size of the the bushing is as follows: Overall lenght = 56mm OD = 34mm ID = 14.3mm Metal bushing lenght (less larger diameter lip) = 35.32mm Can you tell me which of the above bushings this will fit, if any? Thanks. |
