Jeff... The seal goes in on the front side of the cover...no need to remove (the timing cover). It is correct, as shown in the parts manual. David |

I will be installing a new front crankshaft seal on my TR next week. The shop manual reads like the seal goes in from the back side of the front cover. The parts manual shows it going in from the front side of the cover. Which way is correct? If I have to pull the cover, I had better order some more gaskets. Thanks in advance for any information. |
