Jonathan, If the rears are 14mm (0.551) then 9/16" (0.562") is only 0.011 oversize, a 'loose' slip fit. Since the bushing is slotted to fit over the bar, I think it will compress down enough to be an even better fit. Might have to file the slot slightly to get the compression Otherwise,it looks like 0.5" at 0.051 undersize will be the nextbest bet. 1/2" isn't too bad all, it's only about 2x the same amount undersize for a 14mm bar as the undersize amount for a 11/16" (0.6875") bushing on an 18mm( 0.709") bar. At worst, we could chuck a 1/2" bushing in my lathe & bore it out for a perfect fit.

Hi Mitchell... All of them fit GT4 with the following exception... Take away #108748 $21.60 (18mm) and replace with #108747 at $15.50 Hope this helps. JH |

Jonathan Just to be clear, rear bar on a GTS is 18 mm. [77] 308 GTB is 14mm. (GTB was upgraded to a 15mm bar with (I think) the 328, but it might have been the QV too, I don't recall). I used the JCW ARB bushings on the front. Needed to drill/sand them out very slightly so the ARB wasn't too stiff when the anchoring nuts were torqued down. I found a big premium to the handling of the car when I did all the bushings and the shocks too, but it is obviously a significant investment. Good luck |

(I know it's "Whitney", but) the 11/16" large bracket version (85ZX9777B) of these: http://www.jcwhitney.com/productnoitem.jhtml?CATID=36715&BQ=jcw2 fit the (slightly worn) 18mm diameter rear roll bar on my ex-'78 308 well. The 11/16" small bracket version (88ZX7452A) also fit the front 18mm diameter roll bar well and better matched the generally overall smaller size of the stock 308 front anti-roll bar bushing/bracket. I know the rear roll bar diameter is not the same on all 308s, but if one of the English sizes closely matches your existing rear roll bar diameter these could be a decent polyurethane option IMO. The only special consideration is that since the mounting features are slots (and not holes) when you install them you need to ensure that the roll bar remains centered between the two mounting studs. |

I put on a full set of ES black graphite-impregnated polyurethane bushings on my 1985 308QV a couple of months ago. I was one of the handful that did get a full correct set in the group buy. I am very happy with them. Quite firmed up the handling (which was already good). My car -- and I understand all 308s -- used 16 identical 13.3101G bushings to replace those in all four corners.

Hi Everyone, I know there was a giant snafu a while back with a group buy from Energy Suspension. I am thinking of doing some of the bushings in my car that are worn and I was planning on using ES or similar parts. I thought I would start with the rear sway bar and see how I like them before I order all the parts for the whole car. I'm planning on going under the car and measuring them to match up part #'s to the catalog but I'm wondering if anyone has already done this and knows the part #'s for ones that fit. (I'm still going to measure, but then I'll have something to compare with...). Mine is a '77 308 GTB. I went down to Autozone to try and order them but Ferrari isn't in the computer, so I need to find out the model numbers for each bushing to order them. Like I said, at this point I'm only interested in the rear sway bar (the worst bushings in my car right now...) Thanks in advance. Jonathan |
