In fact, it probably takes more time to get the car lifted on stands than it takes to remove the cover. I do a much bigger cover/air-channel on my F355 in less than 5 minutes after being lifted. |

Chris, the cover that Mitch is refering to is super easy to take off and put back on. I think that there are 12 small nuts that hold it in place. I had to remove mine in order to fix the broken shifter on my car. It shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes to take it off and put it back on. Really it is no big deal. |

Thanks Mitch, but do I NEED to do this? - I'm hardly what you'd call technically car minded. If I not running any risk, I'd prefer to leave it in there - what do you think? |

There is a pannel under the central tunnel you can remove from the underside of the car. Then you can access anything in the central tunnel. |

Hi, Whilst setting the clock on my 348 gts yesterday I managed to drop a small metallic tube (which i was using to set the clock) down the gear shift gate. I removed the gate and noticed a sort of tray underneath the gear shift - alas the tube I dropped was not visible... Is it really important I find it and get it out (ie. if left may it cause damage?) or can I just forget about it? |
