Sean , Bill is doing a major on my car right now.
I trust him and heard nothing but great news of his knowledge of early model cars.

Because I'm looking for a GTB, not a GTS. Their are plenty of carb'd S cars for sale but very few GTB's that are Red or Yellow. Also, I want a '77 GTB b/c they have more power than the later Carb cars (which several have noted on this board, and several mechanics I've talked with concur).

Going to LA to find a car is not by choice. However, since it's spent all it's life their which lowers rust possibilities, and the owner appears to have maintained it, it may be the car for me.

Also, a lot of the cars I call about either have no records or haven't been maintained very well. The thing is, the good ones and bad ones all ask the same money.

Sean: It seems that you are looking to buy a 308. Just wondering as to why you can't find one in your area? There has to plenty of them for sale all over the country.

Interesting James,

He did the engine on a car I'm looking at that is definitely NOT stock.

Good to hear the reviews. I may have him do the PPI on the car. WHen I talked with him Satuday, he was swamped b/c of Monterey but said he could do the PPI next week. He said he rememberd the car but hasn't worked on it for years.

Sean - Bill did the major on my BBi. Excellent work. Very expensive. Is a stickler for "Originality." Every nut, hose clamp, hose, paint, etc., is as it came out of the factory. Does very high-end work on early ('50s and '60s era cars), as well as 80s and 90s.

Considered by most mechanics in Southern California as the Ferrari-mechanic's mechanic.

Sean, I understand it is a very good shop. You might want to post this question in the So Cal section also. You might get more responses.

My 86 328 was serviced thru Enzo motors by the P.O.s since 90

He does excellent work and you pay for it, I've talked to Bill a few times only but judging by my cars mechanical cond and its records I'd definately reccommend him

Anyone heard of them. I'm thinking of going to look at a 308 this weekend and the engine was rebuilt by Enzo Motors (may be Ferrari Enzo Motors). Guys who did the engine was Bill Gojkov.

Thanks
