Stu, it's no problem to weld stainless, you just need stainless rod. Any welding shop should be able to help you with it. BTW, the OEM mufflers are stainless too , just not polished like your tubi

Sorry for my ignorance on this - but can you weld to stainless without any problems?

I have a Tubi and I thought that I would not be able to weld the four nuts required for the install of this ebay cover.

I'm hoping you can, as I like the cover and will buy one if I can install it. He makes several designs which are all very cool. He sent me picturs but I don't know how to post them here. Sorry.

BTW Paul, very nice!!

Stu

My sentiments exactly, but i have a custom exhaust with only one pipe coming out so it really looks ugly, but it sounds awesome. straight pipe headers into the turbo, no cat, 4 inch pipe outsiede the right side Upload

i guess i cannot have my cake and eat it too.

Happy motoring

Paul,

I'm in the same situation as you....I love my Euro but I also think it looks a bit "plain" in the rear. I like the look of my Tubi better than the stock system, but I think the covers as sold on the Ebay link would be a nice added touch.

I wonder if it could be fitted to a Euro car with some minor mods? And what would you do with a stainless system - as far as needing to weld the clamps? Might be worth asking the seller.

Mark,

I FEEL YOUR PAIN

NORWOOD has had my car for 6 months. Do I really own a Ferrari? It's been so long, but worth the wait. I just found out that the rear diaper will not bolt up to a EURO. I know it does not come with one, but it just looks so plain.

suggestions?

besides buying a USA car

Mine's a Euro and the orginal owner left the car as is, never removed any parts. Did some Euros have the valance and others not?

Randy, parts manager at Continental (630 - 655 3535) had a really nice used one a couple of months ago (it was mine, bought in error). Don't know if he still has it. Worth checking

Paul,

Have the Euro car here and the diaper APPEARED to bolt up (relatively, might needed a bit of word if you wisely changed away from stock exhaust). Sold the diaper a while back and it simply addded weight to the car.

There is a company on Ebay who has BETTER than stock diapers (IMHO). Alas, can not seem to locate the advert on Ebay at the moment, yet is was LEAGUES ahead better (visually) than the stock unit (IMHO).

Enjoy the Drive,

Thanks Mark for the compliment

It is a completely different animal so I am told. (still at NORWOODS) Nitrous finishes it off. I don't like the look of the valence being off though. Picky me I guess.

HOW IS YOUR PROJECT GOING MARK?

Do you man the entire exhaust? The Euro never had the black "diaper".
