there is a guy on e-bay (Rob124) selling what looks like correct center caps that are repros...I haven't bid on them since he raised his minimum to $100 for a set...has anyone purchased from him?
I did buy just the centers from Superperformance in the UK for $5 each...they are an orange/yellow with a rather pudgie prancing horse and have a peel off adhesive...I popped out my old faded centers from the cap and stuck these on...they're ok for a street car...probably the same ones that come with the 16" QV Repro Rims

Jerry,

Purchased new ones from Sodacom (http://shop.vendio.com/sodacom/item/540673024/index.html). Looked good to me and they were the real thing and Sodacom has great service IMHO. Hope this helps.

Enjoy the Drive,

The centers I received with my 16" wheels have more orange in the color than the original caps. Not even close to any Ferrari yellows that I have seen. Too dark for my taste so I buffed the old ones and put the new ones away.

Jerry,
Run a search in the archives here. I remember a couple threads in the past discusing this. I believe there are at least two different factory oem wheel center caps (one early yellow, one later, lighter shade yellow). And then there are a couple different aftermarket copies, that are not as durable, and often times the shade of yellow is a bit off...

I just bought some from EBay, but now I think they are fakes. I'll report on their quality when I receive them next week.

I wonder how old your "new" OEM centers were?

Have these changed over the years?
I bought a new OEM set a few years ago that looked identical to the original ones on the car though
they carried a different part number than the one listed in the parts book. They cracked almost immediately upon installation and I had to put the old ones back on.
Before I attempt to re-purchase new ones again. Can anyone advise. This is for a 77 308GTB with
Campagnola wheels. Ferrari UK has a part number listed, again a different number from parts book and the ones I last purchased.
